Always soft, never waxy, and always perfect when you need a little something extra!

Waxblend Hydrosoft is a butter-like product made from jojoba, sunflower, and mimosa wax, produced via a special process—wax butter technology—using interesterification. In this process, the fatty acids of the individual components are rearranged and esterified with polyglycerin-3. The result is a completely innovative product. Each wax has a different melting point, which gives Waxblend Hydrosoft a broad melting behavior. This is what makes the product so unique in skincare.

Unlike the individual components, it feels very soft, creates a delicate, creamy sensation on the skin, and never feels dull or waxy. Due to its polyglycerin content, it is also water-binding and co-emulsifying, meaning it can even be used similarly to lanolin. This even makes it possible to incorporate water into sticks and balms. Furthermore, it binds pigments better and ensures that pigments are more evenly distributed in decorative cosmetics. It can also be used as a co-emulsifier in W/O emulsions.

Unlike other waxes, Waxblend Hydrosoft never crystallizes. In oil-based products such as lipsticks, balms, and sticks, it improves crystallization behavior. It even reduces the tendency of other fats (e.g., shea butter) to crystallize and form unpleasant "grittiness" in the final product. This results in products with a more pleasant haptic feel and excellent application properties.
