Data Protection
Protecting your personal data is a matter of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of legal provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003).
Contacting us via email
When you contact us via email, the data you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing your inquiry. We will not pass this data on without your consent.
Orders
In order to process and ship your order, we store personal data. This data is passed on to our delivery service provider, which is also subject to data protection laws.
This includes the following data:
– First and last name
– Address
– Phone number (if provided)
– Email address
– Payment method
What our hosting provider stores
Our website is hosted by Contabo GmbH in Munich. For the purpose of potentially rapid troubleshooting, log files are created on the server, which are automatically deleted after two weeks. Access statistics are also generated. The following information is logged: the page accessed (URL), browser and browser version, operating system used, the previously visited page, the hostname and IP address of the accessing computer, and the time of access.
Web Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, an analysis tool from Google Inc. ("Google" – headquarters in Mountain View, California, United States). Google Analytics uses "cookies." These are text files that are stored on your computer and track your use of the website. This information is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. We have activated IP anonymization ("gat._anonymizeIp();") on this website, so your IP address is truncated beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. We use Google Analytics to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other services associated with website and internet use to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser will not be associated with any other data held by Google.

General information about Klaviyo
We use Klaviyo for sending and storing data. Klaviyo is an email marketing service provider from the American company Klaviyo, 125 Summer St, Boston, MA 02110, USA. This means that your data is stored on an American server. Klaviyo maintains online platforms that allow our users to stay in contact with their subscribers, primarily via email. They allow users to upload email addresses and other information to the subscriber profile, such as name, physical address, and other demographic information, into the Klaviyo database. This information is used to send emails and to enable the use of certain other Klaviyo features for these users. In accordance with its published privacy policies, Klaviyo shares some information with third-party providers in order to provide and support the services that Klaviyo offers its users. Klaviyo also shares some information with third-party advertising partners to better understand the needs and interests of users so that more relevant content and targeted advertising can be provided to these users and other users.

Newsletter registration
We use a double opt-in process for registration. This means that after registering, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your registration. This prevents anyone from subscribing you to the newsletter without having access to your email account. This process is logged (time of registration and confirmation, IP address).
After confirmation of registration, we store your email address, first name, and optionally your last name via Klaviyo. Your name is used exclusively for personalizing the newsletter. Klaviyo uses this for sending and analyzing our newsletters. Additionally, Klaviyo uses this data during analysis for technical and economic improvement of its own services. But don't worry, your data will not be passed on to third parties, and you will not receive any additional emails other than from us.
Deletion of your data
You have the option to change your data or unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by clicking the link in the newsletter. Changes (time, IP address) are recorded, and your data may be deleted.
Newsletter analysis
When you receive a newsletter via Klaviyo, information such as IP address, browser type, and email program is stored to provide us with information on the performance of our newsletter. Klaviyo can use images integrated into HTML emails called web beacons to determine whether the email arrived, whether it was opened, and whether links were clicked. All this information is stored on Klaviyo's servers, not on this website.
Klaviyo Data Processing Agreement
We have concluded a data processing agreement (Data Processing Addendum) with Klaviyo. This contract serves to protect your personal data and ensures that Klaviyo adheres to applicable data protection regulations and does not pass your personal data on to third parties.
Our website uses the Facebook Pixel from Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland. This means that a connection to the Facebook server is established when you visit our page. Facebook assigns this visit to your Facebook account. This allows us to present you with interest-based advertisements on Facebook.

Your Rights
In principle, you have the rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, withdrawal, and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or that your data protection claims have otherwise been violated in any way, you can contact the supervisory authority.
