Emogreen™ HP 40 is a high-purity, plant-based alkane emollient that offers an exceptionally smooth texture while providing an intensive protective effect. This versatile, sustainable raw material forms an even, flexible film on the skin and hair – ideal for formulations that combine a luxurious skin feel, reliable protection, and natural performance.

Protection and smoothness for the skin

On the skin, Emogreen™ HP 40 impresses with its strikingly smooth and pleasantly flexible protective film. It is non-greasy, instead providing a lush, luxurious skin feel that remains light and silky. During application, it provides smooth slip, and after application, the flexible film ensures a long-lasting, well-groomed skin feel.

Due to its excellent film-forming properties, Emogreen™ HP 40 is also ideal for sun care and make-up formulations. The flexible, evenly adhering film supports optimal distribution of UV filters and pigments, thereby contributing to increased durability, water resistance, better coverage, and overall improved product performance.

Thanks to its non-polar, high-molecular structure, it can significantly improve the stability of water-in-oil emulsions by effectively coating and "locking in" the internal water phase. It also strengthens the occlusive effect of the formulation, thus contributing to increased skin protection.

High-performance hair care

Emogreen™ HP 40 is also predestined for hair care: it effectively protects the internal keratin structure from heat damage and simultaneously preserves the color intensity of dyed hair. In addition, it offers long-lasting volume control and a distinct anti-frizz effect – in this way, shine and combability are significantly increased, making it perfect for hair care products such as conditioners, hair tip fluids, or protective leave-in products.

This clear, highly stable emollient is compatible with all oil phases, easy to process, and resistant to oxidation. Emogreen™ HP 40 is entirely plant-based, 100% natural according to ISO 16128, vegan, and biodegradable, representing an interesting alternative to high-molecular silicone oils or mineral oil-based oils.
