Characteristics

Stir bars of different sizes create vortices of different sizes.

Depending on the quantity or viscosity of your product, you will need a larger or smaller stir bar. Even if you want to make several products at once, you will always need a clean stir bar at hand.

For easy and clean removal of the stir bars, we recommend our magnetic retrieval rod.

Note: The magnetic stir bars can be washed in the dishwasher, but they are very afraid of being washed away and generally feel threatened by drains and pipes (there have been tragic incidents among their relatives). Contrary to what their German name "Rührfischchen" (little stir-fish) might suggest, they are very poor swimmers. However, in the cutlery basket or cutlery drawer, there is no real danger to them. Always ensure their safety by placing them securely or alternatively by giving them small water wings (not included in the set!!!).
