A delicately floral-scented 100% essential oil obtained by steam distillation.

Lavender oil is characterized by its mild properties and is one of the few essential oils that can be applied undiluted to the skin. The scent is predominantly floral and can therefore be classified as a heart note. However, it also contains components of top and base notes, resulting in a well-rounded fragrance that is compelling on its own.

On the skin, it has a primarily soothing and anti-inflammatory effect and is therefore commonly used for skin irritations and burns (sunburn).
