Characteristics

Hydrosols can partially or completely replace any water phase, increase the plant-based content of a product, and impart their delicate scent as well as active properties to every product.

Rose water is a distillate that still contains all water-soluble plant extracts and can thus be used as a natural "active water" and for scenting cosmetic products. It is highly valued for toning all skin types (e.g., in facial toners), for scenting emulsions, or for skin-soothing products. It is sensible to replace a portion of the water phase with this hydrosol. The delicate floral scent is effective in products even if only a small part of the water phase is replaced with rose water - e.g., 20%.

Since hydrosols are very susceptible to microorganisms after their container has been opened, it is advisable to use a preserved quality. Unpreserved hydrosols should only be used if they were bottled immediately after production and processed entirely immediately after opening.

Our hydrosols are preserved immediately after production with Leucidal, a natural fermentation product that is also created during the production of kimchi.

Due to the natural origin of Leucidal, it is significantly more expensive compared to synthetic preservatives, which is also reflected in the price of our hydrosol. In return, it is characterized by the following advantages:

• and does not distort the scent of the hydrosol in any way.
