Characteristics

Hydrolats can replace the water phase partially or completely, increase the botanical proportion of the product, and give every product its delicate scent as well as active ingredient properties.

Lavender water from true lavender is a distillate that still contains all the water-soluble extract components of the plant and can therefore be used as a natural "active ingredient water" and for scenting cosmetic products. Especially for the care of oily and impure skin, or for irritated skin, it is useful to replace part of the water phase with this hydrolat. It has a toning, skin-soothing effect and balances the skin's natural sebum production.

Since hydrolats are very susceptible to microorganisms after their container has been opened, it is advisable to use a preserved quality. Unpreserved hydrolats should only be used if they were bottled immediately after production and processed in their entirety immediately after opening.

Our hydrolats are preserved immediately after production with Leucidal, a natural fermentation product that is also created during the production of kimchi.

Due to the natural origin of Leucidal, it is also significantly more expensive compared to synthetic preservatives, which is reflected in the price of our hydrolat. In return, it is characterized by the following advantages:
