The time-tested effects of Aloe Vera - enhanced and expanded!

Aloe vera is one of the oldest and most proven medicinal plants, now used worldwide for its regenerative properties - both internally and externally. Its effectiveness is primarily attributed to the phenols and polysaccharides contained in its leaf gel.

The most outstanding polysaccharide in aloe is acemannan. It is typical of Aloe Vera and has various properties that can contribute to skin regeneration:

anti-inflammatory effect
stimulation of the immune system
promotes cell proliferation and cell migration
promotes collagen synthesis
antioxidant effect
moisturizing effect

For these reasons, Aloe Vera promotes the formation of new tissue and is therefore a popular remedy for accelerating wound healing, as well as for burns and sunburn. Aloe leaves also contain a proportion of polysaccharide fibers that are inert from a cosmetic perspective. These stable cellulose fibers form the cell walls of the plant; they are insoluble and therefore not bioavailable to the skin.

In AloeFerment, however, these polysaccharides have been made bioavailable through a special process called "hyperfermentation". Enzymes hydrolyze the long-chain polysaccharides of organic Aloe Vera gel, converting them into short-chain sugars. These sugars are then transformed into new active ingredients through a fermentation process using the yeast species "Saccharomyces Cerevisiae".

AloeFerment therefore contains a phytocomplex that is amplified by the combined action of aloe and enzymes, positively influencing the metabolism and regenerative capacity of skin cells. Compared to conventional Aloe Vera gel:

the polyphenol content is doubled,
the antioxidant effect is quadrupled, and
the amino acid content is doubled.

As a result, AloeFerment can be used in much smaller quantities than classic Aloe Vera gel while still offering a broader spectrum of activity.

It is much more effective at skin hydration than pure aloe gel and works both short-term and long-term, reaching even the deepest layers of the skin. It also helps to lock in moisture and reduces flaky, rough skin and scalp. It also has a moisturizing and soothing effect in hair care products, both in leave-on and rinse-off formulations.

AloeFerment is a versatile active ingredient. It is clear, odorless, water-soluble, and easy to process. It can be incorporated into all water-based formulations such as emulsions, toners, and cleansing products, and supports all skin types.
