The optimal combination of the two substances enables emulsions with lamellar, \u003cstrong\u003eliquid-crystalline gel structures\u003c\/strong\u003e that can bind a large amount of water. This leads on the one hand to \u003cstrong\u003ehigh product stability\u003c\/strong\u003e and on the other hand to the fact that the bound water (together with the active ingredients contained) can be released to the skin over a long period.
